We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2025, Hilda Simmons of Hampstead, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Whitt and Edna Cox Whitt; her husband Paul Simmons; her son Paul Wayne; and her siblings, Jack, Earl, Harry and Alice.
She is survived by: her children, Sheliah Lowe (Mike) and James Simmons (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Patti Walker Simmons; her sisters, Arvetta, Jessie and Patty; and her son Michael Lowe. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
