She was predeceased by : her father Simuel Burney Smith; her husband Lacy Earl Jones; her siblings, Jimmie Lee Smith, Billy Ray Smith and Lila Mae Smith; and her grandson Tannner Earl Jones.

She is survived by : her children, Jeff Jones (Becky Bomeman) and Melissa Henderson-Nicholson (Hal); her siblings, Shirley Ann Cherry, Joyce Ezzell (Linwood), Thomas Smith (Ann), Bobby Lee Smith (Peggy) and Sammy Smith (Jan); her grandchildren, Casey Jones (Stephanie) and Jarrett Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Grace and Noah Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made Scott's Hill Baptist Church missions.
