We bid farewell to Joseph Mattlin (Hampstead, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2026 at the age of 74. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph P. Mattlin; and his siblings, Tom Mattlin, Dave Mattlin, Nancy Holmes and Jenny Lanning.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Daniel; his granddaughters, Peyton and Leila; his sisters-in-law, Lois and Marilyn; and his brother Bob (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other family members.
A reception will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Olde Point Golf Club (513 Country Club Dr, Hampstead, NC 28443).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Shriners Children Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnels to Towers or the charity of your choice.
