He was predeceased by: his wife Sue; and his daughter Julie. He is survived by: his sons, Joe Morris II (Lynn), Jeff (Nonie) of Hampstead and Jon (Cindy) of Syracuse; his girlfriend Claudette Brown; his partner's children, Ted Brown (Michelle) of Hampstead and Cindi Brown of Buford, GA; and his great grandchild Joe. He is also survived by three grandsons.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hampstead Chapel (17730 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sea Lawn Memorial Park (17750 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443).
