It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Jean Bowman of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Dale Barnes and Joyce Barnes; her husband Gary Bowman; her daughter Stephanie Laverde (John Paul); her brothers, Mike Barnes (Darlene), Jeff Barnes, Greg Barnes and Tim Barnes; and her granddaughter Zoya Laverde.
