He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Lynn Reith Atkins (Tom Atkins) of Cary, NC; his grandsons, John Allen Atkins of Wilmington, NC, Luke Atkins (Reagan) of Cary, NC and Joshua Atkins of Cary, NC; his great grandchild Savannah; and his sister Patricia Collins (Tom Collins).
