He is survived by: his son Kristopher Dumschat; his sister-in-law Susan Dumschat; his nieces, Sarah Dumschat (Andy) and Amanda Peterson (Daniel); his pets, Boomer and Blizzard; and his brother NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pender County Animal Shelter where he rescued many of his beloved dogs.
