He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brooks Jr. (RB) and Katherine Gunter Wicker. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Elizabeth Gardner (Derek) and Suzanne Wicker; and his grandsons, Derek, Jr. and David Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Andrews Hampstead Chapel (17730 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443).
