It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosemary Petersen of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Hague, North Dakota, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose and Frank; her sister Lorraine; her husband Darwin; and her son Scott.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kim and Jacque; her children-in-law, Jeff, Janet and Linda; her granddaughters, Christina (Anthony) and Stephanie (Ponce); and her great grandchildren, April, Christian and Reese.
