She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Phelps Cobb and Melvin Rudolph Cobb Sr.; and her brother Melvin "Rudy" Cobb Jr. of Wilmington, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Cliff Brown; her son Adam Brown; her stepchildren, Clifton L. Brown IV (Jenny), Dana Parker (Dale) and Jay Brown (Tricia); and her sibling's children, Barry S. Cobb (Emily) and Amy Cobb Murray (Matt). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hampstead Baptist Church, 67 Factory Road, Hampstead, NC 28443.
