She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Lamarion Massie and Eleanor Joyce Taylor; her stepfather Myron B. Taylor; her sisters, Theresa Willis and Marie Gaskill; and her brother-in-law Vernon Adair Fulcher of Harkers Island.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Marie Willis (Chris Willis); her siblings, Roger Massie (Dyann), Gene Massie, Linda Oliver and Leona Tilton; her grandchildren, Tyler Wortham and Katelyn Wortham; and her great grandchildren, Bodhi Wortham and Kyland Jones. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridgeway Church of Beaufort (100 Lockhart Dr, Beaufort, NC 28516).
