In the vast expanse of eternity, Cathy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cathy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Sr. Willis and Edith Audrey Rose Willis; her husband Sonny Wayne Willis; and her brother Clem Willis, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Angela Michelle Willis and Sonny Courtney Willis of Richlands, NC; and her brother-in-law Johnny Van Willis of Marshallberg, NC. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vergie Mae Cemetery (603 Cape Lookout Dr, Harkers Island, NC 28531).
