James Marsh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Marsh of Harkers Island, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Marsh of Harkers Island, NC; his sister Marilyn Gilbert (James Gilbert) of Fredericksburg, VA; his daughters, Shelly Hodges (Jim Hodges) of Nitro, WV and Barbara Nicholas (John Nicholas) of Newport News, VA; his stepchildren, Cindy Lehner (Greg Lehner) of Cary, NC and Harry "Chip" Shaver (Nancy Shaver); and his grandchildren, Kelsea Hasbrouck (Chaz Hasbrouck) of Rock Hill, SC, Wesley Nicholas (Chantelle) of Newport News, VA, Noah Lehner, Ryan Lehner, Jessica Lehner of Cary, NC, Christie Shaffer, Joseph Shaver and Nikkole "Nikki" Shaver. He is also survived by grandchildren are numerous great-grandchildren and nieces.
