She was predeceased by: her father Hilton Lee Taylor; her husband Floyd "Buddy" Gaskill; her mother Mary Salter Taylor Cook; her stepfather Gilbert Scott Cook, Sr.; and her siblings, Ronald, Donald and Janet Lee Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Gaskill, Christopher Gaskill of Sea Level, NC, Martha Gaskill of Louisville, KY and Nannie Willis (Chuck) of Chocowinity, NC; her grandchildren, Conner, Allyson, Zachary Gaskill and Hannah Willis; her sisters, Donna Morris (Wally) of Atlantic, NC and Linda Sunderland (Kevan) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her aunt Lena Respess of Sea Level, NC; her siblings-in-law, Viola Cannon (Butch), Lorraine Wade, David Neal Gaskill (Marie O'Shell), Gordon Wayne "Speckle Head" Gaskill, Debbie Sue Anderson (Jim), Alice Gillikin (Louie) and Lynda Gaskill; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb Lewis, Ella and Asher Willis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews; cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Harkers Island Ward (1007 Island Rd, Harkers Island, NC 28531). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
