She was predeceased by: her parents, Marquis Earl and Ann Wilson Garrett; her grandparents, Willard Earl, Virginia Starling Garrett, Louis Heazleton and Elinor Hornor Wilson; her brother Marquis "Mark" Earl Garrett, Jr.; her nephew Ross Wilson Babcock of Huntersville, NC; her uncle William Charles Garrett; her aunt Sara Wilson Bennett; and her fiancé John Whitmeyer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Douglas Heazelton Garrett (Jaime) of Fairmont, WV, Jeffrey Wilson Garrett (Sue) of Cornelius, NC, Katherine Garrett Kiger (Mike) of Marietta, Elinor Elizabeth Garrett (Sue Chase) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Karen Garrett Mazza (Albert) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Janet Garrett Babcock of Davidson, NC and Amanda Wilson Garrett (Bryan Bruno) of Dayton, OH; and her uncle Thomas Wayne Garrett (Lois) of Fairmont, WV. She is also survived by four nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew and three great-nieces, and several cousins.
