She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee Miller and Louise Turner Miller; her husband Willard Parker; her sister Vonnie Miller; her half-sister Daisy Ann Holmes; her siblings, Mary Ann Gordie, Mildred Louise Miller Scott and Willie Edward Miller; her siblings' children, Timothy Enoch Miller and April Michelle Stinson; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Kay Bailey, Robert Lee Gordie Sr., Joe Neil Scott Sr. and Annie Lee Kinney.

She is survived by: her daughter Denise Parker Gillespie (Todd) of Harmony; her granddaughter Iesha Gillespie (Lamar) of Mooresville; her great grandchildren, Lawson Gillespie of Mooresville, Trinity Gillespie of Mooresville and Harlowe Gillespie of Yadkinville; her brother Kenneth Miller of Statesville; her cousin Adell White (Frank) of Statesville; her siblings-in-law, Maggie Stinson, Peggy Morrison (Tyrone), Josephine Miller and Leonard Kinney Sr. of Statesville; and her sibling's children, Robert Gordie Jr. of Statesville and Kizler Kinney Heaggans of Statesville. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and special friends.
