He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde G. Taylor and Fairy Overcash; his sister Patricia Church; and his stepmother Dorothy Taylor. He is survived by : his siblings, Patsy Bennett, Johnny Taylor (Cheryl), James Redding (Donna), Donna Kimmer (Ronnie) and Tammara McCombs (Charles).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barnabas Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Indian Hill Rd. Union Grove, NC 28689.
