With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Coyte Hager of Harmony, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Coyte Hager, Sr. and Vina Greer Hager; and his sister Dorothy Sigmon. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Mae Cape; his children, Chuck Hager (Banyen) and Laura Thompson (Charles); his granddaughters, Christine Haymore (Johnny) and Samantha Barr; his great grandchildren, Rachel Morris, Steve Morris, Jr., Mary Haymore, Sabrina Jones, Patrick Barr, Bella Jones and Miranda Holder; his brothers, Jerry Hager and Roger Hager; and his sister-in-law Shirley Rochester (Gary Simmons). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
