James Charles Mullis Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Charles Mullis Sr. of Harmony, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Mullis and Rosa Bell Smith Mullis; and his siblings, Lucille York, Pauline Peterson, Ola Mae Daniels and Henry Paul Mullis.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Padgette Mullis; his children, James C. Mullis Jr. (Angela Lane) and Kathy Dobbins (Michael); his grandchildren, Lindsey Cearlock (Scott) and Jordan Kesler (Joe); and his great grandchildren, James Michael Cearlock and Charles Porter Kesler.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Winthrop Friends Church (262 Winthrop Rd, Harmony, NC 28634).
