He was predeceased by: his mother Joann Wallace; and his grandparents, Marvin "Bud" Terry and Lucille Napier Terry. He is survived by: his father David Wayne Terry (Tina) of Statesville, NC; and his siblings, Melissa Anne Terry of Morganton, NC, Alicia Addington of Stony Point, NC, Christina Henson of Mooresville, NC, J. J. Myers of Troutman, NC and Larry Conger of Ohio.
