With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reda Faye Bailey Lester of Harmony, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bailey and Hazel Walker Bailey; and her siblings, Michael Bailey and Shirley Cline. She is survived by: her husband Michael Keith Lester; her sons, Kevin Bailey (Stephanie Roark), Greg Bailey (Dana) and Scott Lester (Shawntae); her siblings, Brenda Atwell (John) and Randy Bailey (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Michelle Bailey, Jeremy Leonard, Hailey Brooks, Payton Bailey (Megan), Jayden Bailey, Bryson Lester and Alyssa Lester. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iredell Memorial Gardens (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
