He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elisha and Cora Edna Riddle Reavis; his wife Freddia Reavis; his children, Jerry and Linda Reavis; and his siblings, Hubert Reavis, Cleo Reavis Peacock and Mozelle Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Reavis, Shari Wetherspoon (Dale), Steven Reavis (Barbara), Daniel Reavis and Lori Dalton (Fred); his sister Norma Jean Bowden; his grandchildren, Jason Bradham, Matthew Allen, Ryan Allen, Hayley Childers, Victoria, Hannah Reavis, Erin Reavis, Christian Reavis and Mackenzie Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Rebecca Ladd, Elijah, Leviticus Allen and Gabriel Higgins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (349 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
