She was predeceased by: her husband Paul E. Ambrose; her parents, Donnie Edward Lewis, Sr. and Lettie Glen Corbett Lewis; and her siblings, Wilma Plaunty, Donnie E. Lewis, Jr. and Bill Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy J. Smith, Chris Ambrose (Wendy) and Glen E. Ambrose (Tom Kiff); her grandchildren, Jason T. Aldridge and Maeghan Holloman (Lofton); her great grandchildren, Garrett Ambrose, Fletcher Holloman and Silas Aldridge (Carolyn); and her sister Bettie Cullipher.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountlawn Cemetery (Harrellsville Cemetery).
