She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rohler and Virgil Bankert Rohler; her husband Lee G. Porter; her daughter Debbie Pierson; her son-in-law Rusty Pierson; her sister Gale Lengrand; and her son-in-law Tom Whitworth.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Freeman (Danny), Patti Whitworth and Kenny Porter (Lisa); her sister Kay Nead (Jim); and her sister-in-law Nancy Stokes. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and 4 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
