Geraldine Ball Caughell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Ball Caughell (Harrisburg, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank Ball and Mary Mucha Ball; and her husband Bruce Vanstone Caughell. She is survived by: her children, David Caughell (Gay) of Harrisburg, Douglas Caughell (Claudia) of Kannapolis, Deborah Sloop (Carl) of Concord and Deanna Parker (Tim) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Christine Price (Byron), Matthew Parker (Allison), Wesley Caughell (Taylor), Jason Hinson, Sarah Casteline (Danny) and Joshua Sellers (Allison); her great grandchildren, Airyana Price, Ella Price, Logan Parker, Luke Parker, Hazel Sellers, Meridith Johnson (Wesley), Madison Hernon and Mya Hernon; and her great great grandchild Jace Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (5315 State Hwy 49, Harrisburg, NC 28075). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
