He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Roden, Sr. and Docia Leah Baird Roden; his former wife Gloria "Sis" Roden; his wife Ella Levenia Roden; his brother Joe Roden, Jr.; and his daughter Janet Roden.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Evans of Shelby, AL, Jeannie Bailey of Calabash, NC, Debra Fullam of China Grove, NC, Randy Stegall of Midland, NC and Kevin Stegall of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Rachel, Brad, Courtney, Ashley (Cody), Matt and Meagan; his great grandchildren, Kristen (Joseph), Dalton (Mikayla), Kaleb, Braden, Caden and Maggie Grace; and his great great grandchildren, Emmalyn, River, Sawyer and Jack.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
