He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Clontz; his son Jimmy Freeman; and his parents, Edward Freeman and Mae Tierney. He is survived by: his children, John Freeman (Jane), Robin Owensby (Jamie), Debbie Hutto (Tim) and Carol Burnette (Rodney).
