She was predeceased by: her father Walter Liles; her husband Silver Joe Boyd; and her sons, Alan "Sarge" Darryl Boyd and James Alvin Boyd. She is survived by: her mother Ona Marie Fiddler Denson; her daughter Denise Hanson; and her brother Ronnie Denson. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
