He was predeceased by: his father Mateo Pena; and his siblings, Epigmenio Pena Lepe and Obdulia Pena Lepe. He is survived by: his wife Mary Troutman-Pena of Harrisburg; his mother Lorenza Lepe-Ortega of Mexico; his children, Ana Paula Pena-Odriozola of California and Jose Patrick Pena-Odriozoloa of California; his siblings, Andrea Pena-Lepe of Mexico, Petronia Pena-Lepe of Mexico, Luciana Pena-Lepe of Mexico, Alvaro Pena-Lepe of Mexico, Martin Pena-Lepe of Mexico and Miguel Pena-Lepe of Mexico; his stepdaughters, Donna Heiner of Mt. Pleasant and Lori Rappe (John) of Iron Station; his stepgrandchildren, Krystle and Travis; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Blakely, Harper, Lillian, Alivia and Kelsey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Harrisburg (12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
