He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Brown Cox and Martha Inez Cox. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Culp Cox; his sons, Matthew (Grace), Marcus (Emilie) and David; his brother David Archie Cox (Linda); and his niece Amy Cox Underwood. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Mack's memory for his beloved pets, Emma Sue and Sugar, to Cabarrus Humane Society in Concord, NC.
