We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sheila Dianne Hale of Harrisburg, North Carolina, born in Abilene, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucille Brock Skaggs Foster and Willie Dee Skaggs; her husband Robert Kay Hale; her brother Kenneth William Skaggs; and her stepfather Melvin John Foster.

She is survived by : her son Douglas Keane Matthews (Cecilia); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Eliana and Sky of Harrisburg, NC; her sister Donna Kay Skaggs Gwynn (Sam Gwynn); her nephews, Jason Simon, Dustin Simon, Tyree Gwynn and Jeremy Slade Skaggs; and her niece Kirstie Nicole Skaggs.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation, 7413 Six Forks Road #255, Raleigh, NC 27615.
