It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Farris of Harrisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Dover and Mary Rushing Dover; her husband Carl Farris; and her sisters, Rachel Capps and Millie Lanford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Seigler (Irv) of Harrisburg, NC and Pat Bressler (Bill) of Livingston, TX; her brother Forest Dover of Georgetown, SC; her grandson Chip Seigler (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Hudson and Brennon Seigler of Knoxville, TN; her granddaughter Paige Ludlow (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Baylor Ludlow of Huntersville, NC; her grandsons, Greg Rogers (Rebecca) and Brian Sullivan; her great grandchild Hampton Rogers of Summerville, SC; and her niece Melita Kelly.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Westview Gardens Cemetery (1123 Edgewood Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016).
