He is survived by: his wife Betty Earl Gaston; his daughters, Lisa Gaston of Charlotte, Tega Broome of Charlotte and Malinda Gaston Ingram (James) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Derek Burns, Camerius Jackson, Tion Gaston, Jordan Ingram and Enchantis Gaston; his great grandchild Karisma Locke; his stepsiblings, Luther Reynolds (Gail), James Reynolds, Earl Reynolds (Mary), Sylvester Reynolds, Albert Reynolds, Minnie Steele and Joreather Young; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Earl (Sandra), Carolyn Earl, Ada Gaston, Mary Gaston, Linda Earl and Diane Smarr; and his close friends, Teddy, Tracie Griffin and Jonathan Holmes.
