He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Underwood and Barbara Underwood of Havelock, NC; his brothers, Jonathan Underwood of Vanceboro, NC and Robert Underwood of New York City, NY; his nephews, Eli and Evan Underwood; his niece Ella Underwood; and his pet Jojo.
