With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Austin Adams (Havelock, North Carolina), born in New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Austin Adams (April) and Irene Adams Sanders; his stepfathers, Leslie Sanders and Clyde Jones; and his sister Jean Carolyn.

He is survived by : his friend Cleveland Ballard; his sister Shirley Adams of Bogue; his children, Angela Goff-Boaz of Stella, NC and Bobby Goff (Amy) of St. Marys, GA; his stepbrother Leland Sanders (Kathy) of Bogue; his grandchildren, Anna Boaz, Caden Goff, Madi Goff and Evan Goff; his close friend Peggy Briley; his brother Cleveland Ballard (Kim); his children, James and Julia; and also, Brandon and Aaron.
