It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Anita Grigalis of Havelock, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Diane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Diane. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joann Koch and Leonard Szydlowski. She is survived by: her husband Edgar Grigalis; her children, Nicholas Grigalis (Amanda) and Christina Harter (Craig); her grandchildren, Caleb Harter, Avery Grigalis and Madison Lennard; and her siblings, David Szydlowski (Inge) and Darlene Forest (Lance). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (246 E Main St, Havelock, NC 28532). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at the Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens (908 Lake Rd, Havelock, NC 28532).
