She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johns Sr. and Edith Foy Johns; and her son Frank Winston Quinn III. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Keith Plumley; her daughters, Leigh-Anne Johns of Hubert and Ashley Quinn of Morehead City; her siblings, James D. Johns Jr. (Anne) of Harkers Island and Nina Nuttall (David) of Swansboro; and her stepmother Elizabeth Johns of Swansboro. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
