He is survived by: his parents, Edwin Martindale and Betty Martindale; his sister Tammy Starnes (Jason) of Havelock; his nieces, Stephanie Starnes of Fort Mill, S. C., Kayla LaBarge of Salisbury, N. C. and Emily Starnes of Havelock; and his nephew Cody LaBarge of Oklahoma.
