He was predeceased by: his father John Whiteman; and his granddaughter Becky Willis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Loht Whiteman; his children, Susan Willis (Ronnie) of Mill Creek and Daniel "Red" Whiteman (Cynthia) of Flagler Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Zachary Willis (Ashley), Jacob Willis, Josh Whiteman and Danél Schofield (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Michael (Ashton) and Kora.
