It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laila Mary Markowski of Havelock, North Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Herman Strand; and her husband Frank Markowski. She is survived by: her sons, David Markowski, Bradley Markowski and Gregory Markowski; her grandchildren, Rachel, William, Samantha, Gabriel and Laila; her great grandchildren, Liam and Aden; and her siblings, Paul Strand, Phillip Strand and Dagmar Runyon.
