It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Campbell of Havelock, North Carolina, born in Stillwater, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Johnson and Margaret Johnson; her husband Christopher Campbell; her daughters, Tasia Campbell (Zachary Simmons) of Havelock, NC and Margaret Campbell (James McCoy) of Havelock, NC; her siblings, Elizabeth Hailstone of Park Rapids, MI and David Johnson of Woodbury, MN; and her grandson Samuel Simmons. She was also cherished by wife, a caring mother, a fun-filled grandmother, and was everything to her friends.
