She is survived by: her husband Clinton DeWitt Root (Bud); her daughters, Gretchen Foster (David) of New Bern, NC, Gail Eisele (Mark) of Havelock, NC and Greta Spenard (Joseph) of Syracuse, NY.; her grandchildren, Joshua Foster, Zachary Foster (Ali), Abigail Eisele, Matthew Ethan Eisele, Eric Eisele, Luke Johnson (Stephanie), Nate Johnson (Audrey), Eliza Johnson and Kendra Briggs (Richard); and her great grandchildren, Parker Foster, Ella Foster, Anaka Foster, Liesel Foster, Eliotte Foster, Amelia Foster and Gabriel Johnson.
