He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mehegan and Norma Mehegan; his children, Bryce and Karen; his siblings, Judy and Richard Harold Mehegan; and his grandparents, Thomas, Bessie Mehegan, Chester and Frances "Meme" Wallace.
He is survived by: his son Richard Mehegan (Jennifer) of Otway; his brother Terry Mehegan (Julie) of University Place, WA; his niece Jill Anderson; his former wife Zina Guthrie; and his grandchildren, Jason, Kylie, Layla, Maylee, Christopher, Cooper, Landon, Aden Mehegan, Adam, Seriah and Vavega Stalter.
