She was predeceased by: her husband Ray William Chadwick; and her children, Ray "Billy" Chadwick Jr. and Patricia Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, James Chadwick, Thomas Chadwick (Connie) and Jean Czernik; and her daughter-in-law Diane Chadwick. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
