It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Squires Sr. (Havelock, North Carolina), who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Staley Squires; his wife Nelva; and his siblings, Peggy Squires, Estell Beal and Johnny Squires.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Squires of Otway, Wesley "Tex" Squires Jr. (Grace) of Mount Holly and Paula Ipock (Edward) of Beaufort; his sisters, Mildred Mills of New Bern, Roselle Sumrull of New Bern and Sharon Frye (Roger) of Conover; his grandchildren, Edward Ipock Jr., Paul Ipock, Kimberly Squires and Wesley Squires III; and his great grandchildren, Everly Love Ipock and Avacyn Vale Squires.
