He is survived by: his wife Linda Williams Swicegood; his children, Wendy Sawyer (Pat Sawyer) of Haw River, Scott Swicegood of Thomasville and Mark Swicegood (Shobit Rastogi) of Davidson; his sister Brenda S. Blackley of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Hannah Mendoza (Dominic Mendoza) of Phoenix, AZ, Patrick Sawyer of Lynchburg, Nicholas Sawyer (Samantha Sawyer) of Wilmington, NC, Zoe Wood of Thomasville and Parker Swicegood of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Fox and Josephine Mendoza; and his granddaughter Joni Sawyer.
