She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Gene Riley; her parents, Lex Herbert Briggs, Sr. and Mary Lera Powell Briggs "Mu"; and her siblings, Mike Briggs, L. H. Briggs, Hazel Day, Nell Blalock, Ruth Smith, Lena Oakley and Doris Slaughter.
She is survived by: her children, Warrie Riley Terrell of Mebane and Jon B. Riley (Sandra) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jacob Hunter Terrell, Alexandria Elizabeth Terrell, Maya I. Riley and Lyla E. Riley; and her brother-in-law L. D. Slaughter of Graham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Free Ministry, 1230 Walnut Grove Lane.
