He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Walker Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Carol Reavis Phillips; his son James Wyatt Phillips; and his siblings, Vickie Lewis (David), Janie Humphries (late Michael) and Neil Phillips (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel - Graham (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).
