She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Matheson and Hazel Morris Matheson; her husband James Long; her siblings, Grady, Merle Matheson, Gin Matheson and Frances Turrill; and her grandsons, Alex "Chief" Parker, Gavin Long and Tanner Long.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Long (Cinda) of Hayesville, NC, Randy Long of Hayesville, NC, Pat Berrong (Ron) of Hayesville, NC and Lynn Sanchez of Hiawassee, GA; her sister Alice Coleman of Young Harris, GA; and her grandchildren, Tamara Whitney (Brandon), Jade Shelton, Denahi Sanchez, Bret Long and Dalton Long. She is also survived by grandkids, one great-great grandkid; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
