It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carey Leamon Stegall (Hayesville, North Carolina), born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his child Orman (Hattie Stegall); his former wife Janice Mobley Stegall; his sons, Carey and Ken; and his wife Nell Smiley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and seven great-granddaughters.
